Play fair, be decent to other people, and remember the game is unfinished. Everything below says the same thing at greater length.
Roleplay Nations 2 is run by MATKO Interactive Software. Playing it means you accept these terms. If you do not, you should not sign in.
You sign in with Discord, so your account is only as safe as your Discord account. Keep two-factor authentication on. What happens under your login is treated as you.
One account each. The game rules explain what that means in practice.
We can suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms or the game rules. Bad enough behaviour gets a permanent ban with no warning.
Your nation, your writing and your flag stay yours. By putting them in the game you let us store them, show them to other players, and show them on our own pages and posts about the game.
Do not upload anything you do not have the right to use. Flags and banners are loaded straight from the address you give, so somebody else's artwork is somebody else's artwork.
The game itself, its code, its art and its name belong to us.
Nothing in the game costs money. Nothing in the game is worth money. Nations, treasuries and territory are numbers in a database and cannot be sold, traded for anything real, or claimed as property.
This is a playtest. Things will break. We may reset the world and delete every nation, and we will say so on Discord first. There is no guarantee the game stays available.
Tell an admin. A player who reports something serious keeps whatever they have. A player who quietly farms it does not, and we roll back what it earned.
If you find a security hole, message an admin privately rather than posting it. We will not come after anyone who reports one in good faith and gives us a chance to fix it.
Admins can adjust nations, end wars, undo the results of a bug, and ban accounts. We use that to keep the game fair, not to pick winners.
The game is provided as it is. We do not promise it will work, stay online, or keep your data safe from every possible failure, and we are not liable for anything you lose by playing it. Where the law says we cannot limit our liability, we do not.
Delete your nation in the game, or ask an admin to remove your account. We can close an account too, and we will say why unless saying why would help somebody get around a ban.
These terms will change as the game grows. We post about it on Discord and the date at the top tells you when it last changed. Carrying on playing means you accept the new version.
What we store and why is on the privacy page.
